Here the time comes again as we plan our 2015 year for what we are offering to our clients from the bounty of the farm!

I can't thank you enough for sticking by us as we went thru what we were called to do for the past 3 years ~ time flew!

2015 is a time for renewal. This year I do have some plans to be more consistent of meeting your needs of food consumption.

First we are planning on building a processing house. This will be good for you and me! I will no longer be weather dependent which will in turn lead to a scheduled time for poultry pick up which will be know MONTHS in advance as the chickens are ready at a certain age. This allows all of us to be on the same schedule. Others have also mentioned that they would like to learn/ help with this process and will be able to see the dates on my calendar !  Im feeling really good about this decision!

Many of you also have mentioned " I would love to follow you around for a day!" The calendar will be a great resource for all to see what I have planned so if you want to come join me! YEAH for me Free Help!!!! :) But in all seriousness this would be a great way to see what goes into your food and build even more of a connection!

We are also getting the greenhouse up and running so we will have seedlings for sale late April early May.

The farm stand will be open again starting off with eggs, lettuces, and seedlings! If you have any requests as to seedlings you would like let me know as I will be ordering some seeds shortly!

I also do several trips to Butternut farm to gather the berries and apples that we don't have here to put up for the winter. If you want to come and join we can all work together to put our food away for the winter.

Any other ideas are welcomed so look for the survey and jot down your ideas! I am SOO looking forward to the New Beginnings of Lasting Legacy Farm!

Here is the link to the pre order form! I did not put down May as an option for chickens whereas I will have a few available. If you NEED them please make that note on the form in the chicken area! I probably will be able to provide them for you. They will be done Mid May as we have a wedding here at the Farm May 30th!

HAPPY 2015!!!! Look Forward to seeing everyone soon!

Hi Everyone!

This is a little unusual type of email that I usually send out.  This is the first of many to come !

All of my customers are trying to be aware of a healthier life style and have chosen to eat healthier as one of their goals with other changes ;for each of us; in different areas of our lives.

As one of my goals with cancer lurking around us everywhere I am trying to eliminate chemicals in my life. Another big area that chemicals are in our lives is in "cleaning" our houses and I have been searching for a product or line of products that "Make Sense" AND DO THEIR JOB! I did get some of this line and IT DOES DO IT'S JOB!!! AND NO CHEMICALS!!!

I would like to invite you to an informational get together this Saturday October25 at our farm at 2:00pm ~ 4:00 pm to learn about household cleaning products and another option that is out there.

I am hoping to do more educational get togethers of how to live a more sustainable life style. ~

Please join us for our first of hopefully many more classes, wether cooking, education, products, or book study on a healthier way of life.

Do not get dressed up ~ just come ~ have some snacks ~and a good time!

Please RSVP by email  by noon Friday October 24th  so we can make sure we have enough refreshments ~

SO Look forward to seeing you!!!

As many of you know my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in December 2012 and has been living with us since late February 2013. I have had a wonderful time and was very fortunate to have spent a year and half having her with us ! On June 25 she went to Glory Land with my sister and I by her side witnessing this beautiful new journey she is on, as well as am I. I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart as you stuck with us and supported us thru the ups and downs and uncertainty that happened for the last 3 years. First with my father's passing in July of 2012 and now with my mom. I can not thank everyone enough for your support.

With that being said I do want to let you know of the plans that lay ahead.

I am taking a bit of a break for the month of July to get my life and the house back in order ~ or somewhat~. August we will be full swing again.

I will be processing chickens this Friday so if anyone would like a few chickens please let me know as to how many you would like. They will be about 5# each at $4.50/# and ready for pick up on  this Sunday from 10 am to noon.

We do have 2 baby lambs that we are bottle feeding and would be great to bring your children out to see them! Also we have 3 baby geese and 6 baby ducks that hatched! 5 baby turkeys are here also! so yes things are rocking and rolling!

I do have a beef going in in August and have a couple of 1/8ths available and a couple of 1/4's. If interested let me know as it will be ready mid September. Pork is all spoken for except for sausage, chops, and picnic hams. That will be ready in September also.

I will be getting the pre order form ready in the next few days for the remainder of the year so if you would like to be guaranteed anything please fill out the form and send it along!

I thank all of you once again for you patience and continued support while we had a hiccup in our life!

As always if you have any questions please feel free to contact me!
